I started Southern Transitions after helping my dad after the loss of my mom, and several family members who lost loved ones or went through a life transition with all of the paperwork and decisions about whether to stay in their home or move, what to do with the things they no longer wanted or had to liquidate because they were downsizing. I felt a need to start a company where I could help alleviate the stress of all of these things and use my gifts of kindness, compassion and a need to help others. I know how difficult and overwhelming any life transition can be and I want to help you in any way that I can.
In case you want to know a little more about me, I was born and raised in Jacksonville in a military family. I have 2 children, a dog, a cat, and several fish. I am married to a retired submariner that served our country for 26 years. I worked in the medical field before having children and deciding to become a stay at home mom and caregiver for my mom. When I’m not helping others or volunteering with veterans and the elderly, I love to spend time with my family going to the beach and repurposing furniture. I believe in hard work, honesty and attention to details.
